About the Role
Damiani Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to join its Korean subsidiary.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of products from our headquarters in Italy to the local market. Acting as a key liaison between the Korean subsidiary and the Group's global functions, you will coordinate inventory planning, order management, logistics activities, and product availability while contributing to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
Supply Chain Executive is responsible for overseeing all importation, customs clearance, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics distribution and compliance activities relating to Damiani Korea business. This role ensures that highvalued products imported from overseas suppliers are safely and efficiently supplied to warehouses and boutiques while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and delivering optimal customer service.
Key Responsibilities Logistics & Warehouse Operations
Manage overall logistics operations, including receiving, storage, order processing, and outbound shipments.
Manage the performance of third-party logistics providers (3PL) and monitor service levels.
Ensure compliance with storage, handling, and security standards for high-value products.
Manage inventory transfers between warehouses and stores while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Establish and maintain logistics SOPs in accordance with company policies and global standards.
Support annual stock counts and internal/external audit activities.
Import & Customs Management
Oversee import logistics activities for jewelry, watches, and luxury products relating to Damiani Korea business.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance.
Ensure compliance with Korean customs laws and import regulations.
Manage import declarations, transportation documents, and customs-related documentation.
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact
Cost & Performance Management
Develop logistics budgets and manage transportation, warehousing, and customs-related costs.
Review and approve logistics-related invoices.
Manage KPIs, including service levels, inventory accuracy, lead times, and logistics costs.
Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Customs & Trade Compliance
Manage overall customs operations, including import/export customs clearance, duties, and HS Code classification.
Handle product certifications (KC, MFDS, RRA, etc.) and FTA origin requirements.
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Manage Carnet purpose conversion for events and exhibitions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Finance, Retail, Merchandising, and Damiani Global Logistics teams.
Provide logistics support for new boutique openings, events, and product launches.
Act as the main point of contact for logistics-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Damiani Korea’s global supply chain policies and standards.
Continuous Improvement
Drive projects aimed at improving service quality and reducing costs.
Participate in logistics systems and process improvement projects.
Propose and implement new solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export operations, or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience in luxury, jewelry, fashion, or retail industries preferred.
Strong knowledge of Korean import customs procedures and customs regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Business-level English communication skills
