The HR Manager Korea will be responsible for leading and managing all human resources activities for Damiani Group in South Korea. This role will support business growth by ensuring effective HR strategies, compliance with local labor laws, talent development, and alignment with the Group’s global HR policies and luxury brand standards.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a strategic HR partner to local management, providing guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, and people development.

Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, training, and offboarding.

Lead recruitment activities for retail, corporate, and managerial roles, ensuring the attraction of high-caliber talent aligned with the Damiani luxury brand.

Ensure full compliance with Korean labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies.

Oversee employee relations, handling disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.

Implement and monitor performance management processes, supporting managers in goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.

Coordinate training and development initiatives, with particular focus on leadership development and retail excellence.

Manage payroll processes in coordination with external providers and internal finance teams.

Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity.

Support change management initiatives related to organizational growth, new store openings, or restructuring.

Prepare HR reports, KPIs, and analytics for local and regional management.

Promote a strong corporate culture aligned with Damiani Group values, ethics, and luxury standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in luxury retail, fashion, or consumer goods.

Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR generalist in a structured international organization.

Strong knowledge of South Korean labor law and HR best practices.

Experience working with regional or global HR teams and implementing corporate HR policies locally.
