Ecommerce Specialist – Korea

Overview

Working closely with the Global Digital HQ and local teams, this role will drive the growth and optimization of the brand’s e-commerce business, enhance the online customer journey, and improve digital sales performance in Korea. This position directly reports to the Retail Director and functionally to the Digital HQ team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform for the Korean market, ensuring smooth execution of all online activities.
  • Drive ecommerce merchandising initiatives, optimizing product presentation and site navigation to maximize online sales performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key website performance metrics (traffic, conversion rate, AOV, sales) and identify opportunities for continuous optimization.
  • Support the execution of performance-driven digital campaigns aimed at increasing qualified traffic and online sales and coordinate local digital agencies in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, retail, merchandising) to ensure alignment with company strategy and support integrated initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activities and stay up to date with digital trends and best practices within the local market.
  • Contribute to the ongoing optimization of the website experience through UI/UX improvements and SEO initiatives.
  • Provide insights and feedback to HQ on online catalog performance, product categorization, and overall ecommerce performance.
  • Oversee the translation of ecommerce content from English into Korean to ensure consistency with the brand’s positioning.
  • Analyze website performance and propose optimization roadmaps to improve conversion and customer experience.
  • Support customer service activities related to ecommerce and contributed to the development of omnichannel initiatives between online and retail channels.
  • Support development and implementation of the omnichannel functionality enabling to maximize online and offline customer performance.
  • Support additional ecommerce and digital projects as required.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, or similar roles.
  • Experience in luxury, fashion, or jewelry industries is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce platforms and web analytics tools.
  • Experience managing or supporting performance marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the Korean digital ecosystem and key local platforms.
  • Familiarity with major Korean platforms such as Naver and Kakao.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English; Korean language skills are considered a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and dynamic environment.
