Job Mission: As the Assistant Boutique Manager, you are the strategic co-pilot to the Boutique Director and an essential floor leader across our flagship space. Within an exquisite sanctuary defined by harmony, absolute discretion, and timeless elegance, you are accountable for translating the House's commercial objectives into flawless operational execution, ensuring continuous floor coverage, and inspiring a cross-functional boutique team to deliver an uncompromised customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Animation & Operation Rigor
- Partner with the Director to develop and implement boutique business plans to consistently achieve monthly and annual quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Actively monitor sales dashboards, traffic pacing, and boutique KPIs, implementing agile corrective measures to optimize floor conversion and performance.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, personally engaging in and supporting high-value timepiece allocations and private salon consultations.
2. Specialized Track Leadership
[Luxury/Watch & Operations Track]: Supporting the Boutique Director, the Assistant Manager drives sales and boutique KPIs while upholding brand prestige. They oversee daily inventory and product distribution under brand guidelines, while leading floor operations to ensure elevated client experiences.
[Hospitality & Client Experience Track]: Elevate our team’s client experience standards by setting the benchmark for flagship storytelling and executing exceptional service. Their deep hospitality expertise drives VIP relationship management and seamless operations, ensuring every client interaction at a Rolex flagship is memorable and refined.
3. Floor Governance & Real-Time Decision Making
Structure client traffic management, allocation updates, and daily operational priorities to maintain a seamless boutique flow. Oversee complex client interactions, after-sales escalations, and delicate situations with emotional intelligence, while enriching the boutique experience through professional storytelling
4. Talent Development & Succession Planning
- Manage, motivate, and develop Supervisors and frontline staff, defining clear individual objectives and fostering career progression.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and qualitative 1-on-1 coaching to identify high-potential talent for future leadership pipelines.
- Foster a noble, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture rooted in trust, shared pride, and mutual respect between tracks.
5. Private Appointments & Event Execution
Prepare and lead the team to execute seamless 1:1 private appointments and boutique events. Deliver curated experiences and personalized storytelling that engage VIC clients, deepen brand loyalty, and align with the brand’s strategic vision.
6. Compliance & Security Governance
Ensure strict compliance with brand operational manuals, cash-handling procedures, and internal audit protocols. Oversee incident management, workplace safety, asset security, and overall boutique maintenance.
Requirements
Work Experience
[Luxury/Watch Track]: Minimum 7-8+ years of progressive retail management experience in Fine Watchmaking, High Jewelry, or luxury flagship environments; Proven track record as an Assistant Store Manager or Floor Manager.
[Hospitality Track]: Minimum 7-8+ years of premium hospitality leadership experience in 5-Star Luxury Hotels (GRC/Concierge/F&B Mgmt), First-Class/FSC Airlines (Purser/Senior Cabin Crew), or Private Membership Clubs.
Core Competencies
Exceptional Floor Orchestration: Proven ability to command floor operations, lead daily briefings, and make sound, real-time decisions under pressure.
Strategic Situational Problem-Solving: High emotional intelligence, diplomatic tact, and agility to manage after-sales escalations and sensitive client scenarios.
Dedication to Luxury Service Standards: In-depth understanding of boutique governance, inventory integrity, and allocation ethics.
