Wholesale & Travel Retail Manager

Damiani Group, one of the main international players in jewelry, is looking for a Wholesale and Travel Retail Manager in APAC Region.

 

The position will report to the Regional Director APAC & Japan and will be responsible for managing and developing the wholesale channel for Damiani & Salvini Brands in the APAC Region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Regional Director APAC & Japan in finalizing the channel development and growth strategy in each APAC market.
- Continuously monitor and assess business opportunities within the region.
- Support the Regional Director APAC & Japan and the Finance Department in activities related to Budget, Forecast, Boutiques P&L, Sell-in targets, and Sell-out objectives.
- Engage in business development activities and negotiations with current partners and prospects.
- Define business goals and strategies for key accounts, identify necessary tools and resources to ensure sustainable growth in alignment with the overall business strategic plan.
- Enhance and optimize KPIs for regional WHS and Travel Retail Partners by providing strategic and operational support.
- Analyze seasonal trends and industry benchmarks, identify competitors' volume drivers, monitor pricing strategies, and offer insights to the merchandising department.
- Lead sales campaigns for all business partners, negotiate OTB, and drive commercial results.
- Conduct weekly Sell-in and Sell-out analyses, oversee SOH and replenishment opportunities to maximize partner performance and inventory efficiency.
- Assist the Finance Department in efficiently managing client payments.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as merchandising, retail, marketing, retail construction, logistics, customer service, finance) to enhance company efficiency and performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the luxury industry (experience in Watches & Jewelry is preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience (experience in merchandising and/or marketing is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Travel retail.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Asia Pacific market.
- Adaptable, flexible, resilient, positive, and energetic mindset with a strong results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the APAC Region.
- High level of autonomy and operational capability.
- Proficient in English.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is appreciated but not mandatory.
